Now that the lake has been re-stocked the fishing is really good. We had 2 anglers yesterday (28/4/17) and on the first cast caught his first trout. Over the next 4 hours he caught and released another 14 trout and all gave a good fight. Another guy came for catch and keep and bagged his 2 and happily set off for his supper.
Please take a look at my rule changes which I have modified to accommodate supervised children.
The fishery will be closed on the 13th May as I have a large booking of anglers.
Pant Y Bedw Fishery is a beautiful site located in a rural but very accessible location with extremely good access from the A48/M4/A40. Pant Y Bedw Fishery lakes are nestled in a natural bowl surrounded by woodland on 3 sides. Challenger lake is currently stocked with rainbow and blue trout, minimum size 2lb. Pant Y Bedw Fishery is located approximately 5 miles east of Carmarthen and 2 miles from the A48 just past the National Botanic Gardens of Wales.
Hi,this was our weekend,the Backcasters from Blackwood.First time at pant-y- Bedw,and very good fishing it was. Nine anglers had 25 fish,some on worm but most on the fly,definitely go back.banks could do with tidying up,some branches trimmed,most important a club house is needed,good luck to you Duncan. John
