After a couple of months of hot weather the lake is now starting to cool down even further which has bought about a cracking rise nearly every day this week. Buzzers are out and dry flies are in. Shipmans and Klinkhammers seem to be doing the job on top of the surface or just below the surface for best results.
Average number of fish to the net over 4 hours is 6 cracking, hard fighting rainbows with the occasional blue.
